Klättermusen is looking for an IT Architect to join our IT Department

We are seeking a driven and skilled IT Architect to develop, lead and continuously improve our IT security and cybersecurity initiative. In this role, you will develop and enforce security operations, governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance practices across the organization. You will also be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously monitoring security controls to protect our IT infrastructure, applications, and data.

This role is well suited for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. proactive and risk‑based mindset, and the ability to clearly translate security risks and threats into business impact.

You thrive in fast paced and cross-functional environments and have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

You will report directly to the IT Manager and will be a key member of the IT-team, which is responsible for the global IT infrastructure, architecture, applications, security and cybersecurity at Klättermusen.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute IT projects and enhancements according to the IT activities plan.

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the company’s IT-security and cybersecurity strategy, policies, guidelines, standards and roadmap.

• Develop and enforce IT-security and cybersecurity standards, governance and procedures.

• Monitor global and regional security risks and adjust defensive strategies.

• Monitor the IT Infrastructure and applications for threat detection and security breaches.

• Oversee and conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR)

• Plan, manage and execute action plans from risk assessments in system objects within the Klättermusen ecosystem.

• Oversee vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.

• Ensure cloud data and environment security and compliance (Azure, AWS).

• Plan, manage and execute action plans from risk assessments in system objects within the Klättermusen ecosystem.

• Manage and coordinate investigations of security incidents and breaches.

• Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and guidance for employees.

• Plan, manage, and execute IT-activities according to the system maintenance management plan in IT applications within the Klättermusen ecosystem.

What you bring:

• 4+ years’ of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security management.

• Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly translate security risks and threats into business impact.

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and security operations.

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.

• Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

• Experience of implementation of the regulations and standards GDPR and/or ISO 27001 is a plus.

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
