Collection Planner
We are looking for a Collection Planner to join our Commercial Team at Klättermusen

About the Role
As a Collection Planner, you are a key member of the Commercial Team, working closely with Design, Production, Sales channels and merchandisers. You ensure that seasonal collections are balanced, datadriven, and aligned with Klättermusen’s DNA and commercial objectives. You will work across multiple seasons, turning insights and analysis into clear recommendations that guide the product creation process and support strategic decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities
Drive seasonal collection planning and build multi-season line plans
Analyse sales, market trends, and retail insights to guide collection direction
Conduct market research and support the creation of clear product briefs
Lead product prioritization aligned with brand and commercial strategy
Support the buying process with volume forecasts and margin insights
Contribute to pricing architecture, ensuring strong price positioning and margin alignment
Help define and manage seasonal style and color across categories
Deliver accurate reporting, data analysis, and performance insights to support cross-functional decisions
Collaborate with Sales on regional assortment needs and global vs. local differentiation
Track seasonal milestones and provide insight-driven recommendations
Who You Are
You are an analytical and structured planner with a strong interest in outdoor products and sustainability. You balance data driven decision and commercial thinking, translating brand vision into wellplanned, profitable collections. Collaborative and detailoriented, you work closely with design, production, and sales to ensure collections are coherent, on time, and aligned with Klättermusen’s values.
You also are or have
A strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data, forecasts, and KPIs to support sound decision making
Minimum 3 to 5+ years experience in collection planning, controlling, merchandising, or a related product-driven role, preferably with premium outdoor brands
Educational background in Business, Economics, or Data Science (or equivalent experience).
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formula, pivot tables, and data modelling, and confident working with other BI tools
Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into action.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with merchandising, Design, and sales teams.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges in real time and adapt to changing situation
Passion for the outdoor lifestyle and a strong understanding of seasonal product cycles
The position is a full-time position.
