As a Material Assistant, you will support our material development team in sourcing, testing, and implementing innovative fabrics and trims for our products. You will work closely with designers, product developers, and suppliers to ensure materials meet our high standards for performance, sustainability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and developing fabrics and trims aligned with design and sustainability goals.
• Maintain and update material data in the PLM system.
• Support negotiations on pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities with suppliers.
• Coordinate sample handling and documentation of material tests.
• Conduct and coordinate rigorous testing and evaluation of fabrics & trims to ensure they meet Klättermusen's standards
• Collect and register sustainability data for materials.
• Communicate material status and test results to internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Education in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or a related field (completed or ongoing).
• Basic understanding of textile materials and manufacturing processes.
• Interest in sustainability and innovation in material development.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PLM systems is a plus.
• Business-level English skills, both written and spoken.
