PATTERN ASSISTANT - APPAREL
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Pattern Assistant to join our Apparel Team in Åre. In this role, you’ll support Product Developers and Pattern Makers in creating, adjusting, and finalizing patterns for technical outdoor garments. This is a hands-on role focused on precision, fit, and execution across the development process.

Your responsibilities will include:As a Pattern Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Pattern Makers in creating and adjusting patterns for outerwear, mid-layers, base layers, and accessories
- Translating design concepts and tech packs into accurate patterns
- Assisting with grading, size adjustments, and measurement checks
- Preparing patterns for prototypes and production
- Participating in fit sessions: taking notes, measuring samples, and logging corrections
- Maintaining pattern archives, technical documentation, and PLM updates
- Supporting sample tracking and ensuring patterns align with development timelines
- Assisting in communication with internal teams, our global team, and suppliers regarding pattern details
You’ll work closely with Pattern Makers, Product Developers, and Designers, reporting directly to the Apparel Development Lead.
The experience you’ll bring to the role is:
- Degree or certification in Pattern Making, Apparel/Product Development, or related field
- Knowledge of garment construction, grading, and fit principles
- Experience with pattern-making software (Gerber, Lectra, or similar) and PLM systems
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – essential for communication and documentation
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – especially Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Interest in functional outdoor apparel and technical materials
- Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach
- Outdoor interest is a strong advantage — our work is tested in real conditions
