DTC MERCHANDISING MANAGER
About the Role
As the DTC Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful launch of new seasonal collections and key products across all channels. You’ll act as the strategic driver, helping the Commercial team define the GTM strategy — selecting focus categories, themes, and hero products — and ensuring alignment across Marketing, eCommerce, Retail, and Sales.
Your role is both analytical and operational, requiring a strong sense of commercial awareness, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own together with the Commercial Manager the seasonal Go-To-Market strategy for new collections and product launches.
- Identify and define focus categories, themes, and hero products that align with brand and commercial goals.
- Collaborate closely with product, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure GTM plans reflect assortment and channel priorities.
- Create and brief cross-functional teams on GTM plans, including marketing, eCommerce, retail, and creative.
- Oversee the execution of GTM deliverables such as:
- Marketing briefs
- Studio and in-activity shoots
- Campaigns and newsletters
- POS materials and in-store merchandising
- Seasonal launch toolkits for internal and external partners
- Ensure consistency in messaging, timing, and product storytelling across all consumer touchpoints.
- Monitor GTM performance and adapt strategies based on sell-through, engagement, and market feedback.
- Own and manage the commercial roadmap/calendar to ensure alignment across teams and timely execution of key milestones
Who You Are
You are a strategic and commercially minded professional with a deep understanding and interest for the outdoor industry, product storytelling and consumer experience. You thrive in cross-functional environments and excel at turning insights into action. You’re comfortable navigating both the analytical and creative sides of merchandising, and you bring clarity and structure to complex seasonal launches.
You Also Have
- A solid background in the outdoor or fashion industry, with 5+ years’ experience in merchandising or commercial planning — ideally within DTC or omnichannel environments — and a degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field.
- A strong grasp of Go-To-Market processes, seasonal planning cycles, and product positioning, paired with a sharp eye for consumer trends and brand alignment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, enabling you to manage multiple stakeholders, influence across teams, and drive projects from strategy to execution.

- Proficiency in key tools such as Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, and project management platforms.
- An analytical mindset that allows you to interpret sell-through data, consumer insights, and market feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- A proactive, collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for the outdoor industry and its products.
The position is a full-time role based in Åre or Stockholm.
